Body Software operates a referral / affiliate programme. This page explains how it works, what your obligations are as an affiliate, and what buyers should know.
For buyers
Links to Body Software products shared by a Body Software user (the "affiliate") are tagged with their personal referral code. If you buy through one of these links, the affiliate may earn a commission paid by Body Software. Check the final product price and any discount at Shopify checkout.
For affiliates — required disclosures
The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) require you to clearly disclose your relationship with Body Software whenever you share an affiliate link, recommend a product, or post content featuring our products.
Start affiliate promotions with a clear Ad or #Ad label and explain the commission relationship, for example: "Ad — I may earn commission if you buy through this link."
Keep the disclosure visible before people engage with the promotion. A brand tag, a label such as #affiliate on its own, or a disclosure buried among hashtags is not a reliable substitute for a clear upfront Ad label.

No false claims
Do not make medical claims ("cures back pain", "guaranteed weight loss", etc.). Do not invent results or testimonials. Speak from your own genuine experience. We may pause your affiliate account if you make claims that could mislead buyers or breach advertising rules.
Commission terms
- Commission rate is set per product and shown in your dashboard.
- A paid order may still have pending commission while an applicable hold or review is outstanding. Payment of the order alone does not always make commission available.
- Pending commission includes orders subject to a hold. The current system also applies a conservative hold to orders containing products offered with instalments; check your dashboard for availability.
- Available commission is confirmed earnings after existing payout reservations and recorded manual payments. You can request a payout when the available amount reaches the minimum shown in your dashboard.
- Payouts are reviewed and paid manually via the selected payment method. A request or approval records a bookkeeping step; it does not automatically transfer money.
- Returns, partial refunds and cancellations may cancel or reduce commission and can require review before a payout is recorded.
Prohibited promotion
- Spamming. No mass-unsolicited DMs/emails. No fake accounts.
- Bidding on Body Software branded terms in paid search without our written consent.
- Misleading or deceptive content.
- Targeting minors.
Tax
Affiliate earnings are taxable income. You are responsible for declaring them to HMRC (UK) or your local tax authority. We do not deduct tax at source.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your affiliate account for breach of these terms. Unpaid confirmed commission will be paid out subject to the normal threshold and minimum payout rules.
